Planet Viorge is a world that is pretty much average, In terms of technology, resources and etc. Though some cities are much better off than others as a whole it is just pretty average. The agriculture of Viorge is made up of lots of mountains, water and forest terrain surrounding small cities and towns. It also has an oriental feel to some of the architecture. During the year of 409 the Kokushibyou clan somehow found a way to break the limits of human power. King Gehrj Inotori was the original leader of the Vihaal Empire (Originally called Capital Empire). King Gehrj was a fair ruler who created the “Nightmare Slayers”, A Collection of planet Viorge’s strongest fighters to control the peace of this land. King Gehrj wanted to speak with the Kokushibyou clan about their findings since he was a peace loving ruler and wanted no one to have the means of destroying this land he vowed to protect. Not to mention he already wanted to recruit Gouran, Arkanis and Santos to be the first squad of the Nightmare Slayers. King Gehrj sent his most trusted soldier Nagato Eemuri to speak to the clan on his behalf. Nagato came to the clan in high spirits for his king but had his own plans.
Instead of him giving them the king’s message he stole the clan’s sacred scroll that contained the clans’ secret of what they found three years prior and razed their sacred lands. He then told them he caught the lords Nightmare Slayers searching their village for their secrets, the clan very unknowing of Nagato’s true motives made him a member of the Kokushibyou. The clan felt like he showed trust by telling them that the king was after their secrets and how he sent his Nightmare Slayers to raze their land and take their secrets. They felt like it was a sign of trust and admiration due to them being so sacred of their Secrets. The clan called this secret the “Renovo Animus” in short, to revive the soul. The king arose the next day to find out that his Empire was under the attack by the Kokushibyou clan. With their being several different rogue clans like this around this land, he was surprised to find out they all have a tie to the Koku clan. He quickly arose and sent his Nightmare Slayers to fight against the Koku clan; this war lasted for almost an eternity and never even had a conclusion. With this happening Nagato was able to secure his plan with weakening the Koku Clan. The last surviving members of the clan Gouran, Arkanis, and Santos have no idea what they are in for.
They were all very young when this war begun, and are the only survivors of this aftermath. They stood by and watched as their clan was slaughtered. By this time Nagato now being a part of the clan and knowing their secrets of resurrection he revived all the dead warriors of the clan and created his own army of specters from their souls. He then takes over the empire by slaying King Gehrj and the Nightmare Slayers. Upon this happening Nagato discovers that King Gehrj found a way to harness the soul of the planet
in multiple elemental energies…
